THE EVOLUTION OF THE HIGH PERFORMANCE HOLLOW FORGED IRON
Designed in joint development with top ONOFF tour pros, the Forged Iron KURO is for players who want a soft forged iron that is not only accurate but also forgiving. A design by number concept means that each club is created to fill a certain role. The semi-automatic hollow iron allows players to aim at the pin and launch the ball with a high trajectory and more distance.
ONOFF ORIGINAL HOLLOW STRUCTURE
The Forged Iron KURO features a forged hollow head and a pleasing shape designed in collaboration with top pros. Easy to align at address, players can aim for the pin and hit an easy high trajectory ball. A forged iron that not only provides great feel and accuracy but also forgiveness and distance.
CUP FACE PRODUCES MORE BALL SPEEDS AND MORE DISTANCE
The Forged Iron KURO uses a rolled high strength spring steel face which creates more spring effect. The CUP face features an L shape which improves the rebound on the lower part of the face where most players typically hit the ball. A bigger sweet spot equals an iron that minimizes distance loss even on miss hits.
SOFT FEEL AT IMPACT
The high strength face allows for a variable thickness design, thinner towards the top and thicker towards the sole. This improves spring effect lower in the face and improves feel at impact, providing that soft forged feel that many love.
UNIQUE FACE MILLING CREATES STABLE CONSISTENT SPIN
A hexagon shaped laser milling on the face helps create the optimal spin by stabilizing spin performance even on miss hits or in inclement weather. Thanks to the face design, spin stays constant even when affected by wet conditions. Aim right at the pin with confidence.

We’ve created our own original shaft using DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY to match the Forged Iron head for optimal performance and feel. Each shaft is optimized for each specific iron. Weight, torque, frequency and shaft balance point are adjusted depending on the role of the iron. A stable mid-kick shaft that creates great distance performance. A carbon shaft that allows the high performance hollow Forged Iron KURO to reach its full potential.
MODUS3 TOUR 105 / 115
The Forged Iron KURO is also offered with the MODUS3 Tour 105 and 115 which produces a strong trajectory and offers increased control for those who want a balance between workability and distance. The heavier steel shafts excel with more powerful players, providing consistent ball fight with accurate distance. Steel shafts that allow the Forged Iron KURO to aim for the pin with confidence.
OPTION
The new Forged Iron KURO allows players to adjust the head weight of each iron to maximize the swing speed and ease of use. By creating an easier to swing club with better feel and feedback, more distance can be achieved.
FINE TUNE THE WEIGHT SWING EASY WITH EVERY IRON
By changing the weight screws in the head within a range of ±3g, the swing weight can be adjusted. If the head feels too heavy and is difficult to swing, the weight can be reduced. At the same time, stronger players may prefer a heavier head and higher swing weight to produce more powerful shots.
The optimal swing weight makes the club easier to swing
Adjusting the head weight screws (optional weights are sold separately) allow golfers to change the weight of the head and fine tune the swing weight. The standard screw in the head is 4g and for every 2g changed, the swing weight will change by 1 point.
Our unique Cross Balance Technology allows players to not only fine tune the head weight but to also swap the weights between the head and grip with our dedicated wrench. An all-new system that allows swing weight changes on the fly. Customize the swing weight to match your desired feel for an easier swing. In addition to the standard weights, other weights are sold separately to help fine tune the optimal performance for each golfer.
