DIRECT REPULSION FACE
ONOFF original iron only face structure is designed to create more distance and forgiveness. The face features two levels of thickness separated by an advanced POWER TRENCH which helps improve the the flex of the lower part of the face. This combined with the L-Cup structure greatly improve the spring effect and place the sweet spot where players actually make impact. The sweet spot placement also helps reduce distance lost on miss hits which are typically topped shots for average golfers. A super forgiving distance iron that goes far even on miss-hits!
Reduce lost ball speeds on topped Shots and off-center hits
A loss in ball speeds and distance has been minimized when topping shots or missing the sweet spot thanks to increasing the flex lower on the face. The thickness of the heel has been reduced to help widen the sweet spot towards the heel as well.

By using a tungsten weight 1.8 times more than the previous model, and placed on the toe side, AKA Iron minimizes distance lost on misses, even when impact is left and right on the face. Higher moment of inertia equals an iron that flies straight no matter where you hit it.

We’ve concentrated on making a distance iron that still looks pleasing to the eye. Many distance irons can look bulky or too big which can be uncomfortable to the eye at address. Iron AKA has an orthodox shape so at address players feel comfortable and natural when lining up the target. The head not only looks great but also produces a soft hitting sound and feel. FACE MILLING FOR STABLE AND CONSISTENT SPIN

SMOOTH KICK MP-522I
We’ve designed and produced a special shaft in house with DAIWA CARBON TECHNOLOGY to match the distance performance of the Iron AKA. The SMOOTH KICK MP-522I was designed with an optimal design by number concept meaning that each shaft is weight and torque matched to the iron number they fit with. This allows the player to experience a similar swing and feel no matter which iron they are using. Since the shaft is an original ONOFF shaft, we were able to create a stable tip section that still feels active in order to provide that sense of stable acceleration. The tip area contains tungsten which helps minimize twisting and creates stability when the iron strikes the ground. The shaft and head work together to create an easy launch for maximum distance while also suppressing unwanted vibrations from impact. Specially made for iron to bring out the best performance!

Our unique Cross Balance Technology allows players to not only fine tune the head weight but to also swap the weights between the head and grip with our dedicated wrench. An all-new system that allows swing weight changes on the fly. Customize the swing weight to match your desired feel for an easier swing. In addition to the standard weights, other weights are sold separately to help fine tune the optimal performance for each golfer.
